NEW YEAR, NEW ME

NEW YEAR,NEW ME

New Year, my favorite holiday, is one of the most celebrated days in the world. The day is shaped by different customs and traditions. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way. The city Ufa, which is located in Russia near the Ural Mountains, is the place of my birth. This is a place where all my childhood memories came from. The city has its own way to celebrate New Year.
The people start to prepare for the holiday at least one month in an advance. The preparation begins by buying presents, decorating houses, and making new costumes. Obviously the holiday would not be complete without a symbol of New Year which transcended from generation to generation, the New Year Tree, the unique tree having million small needles and staying green throughout the year.

reflection

"my reflection"

3rd Grading is over,so, I will step again another Grading Period which is the 4th Grading Period. It is important that we know the different ways you can do on a computer. It can help us to facilitate our works so we have to study seriously.

The last Grading Period I had learned a lot especially about making a movie or the movie maker. At first only little things I know about the movie maker but by the help of our good and patience practice teachers my mind enlightened about that movie maker. We learned all the parts and its definitions. After they taught us about movie maker we make our own movie and thank god we finished it well.

I am so grateful that they  taught us well concerning movie maker. I am so much happy that I learned it, and I hope I would also teach this to those who are not yet familiar about movie maker.

"english club celebration"

"english club celebration"

As students learn English, too often they become obsessed with the future.  They think, “someday I will speak English fluently and then I’ll be happy.”   But in the present, they are miserable.   They are miserable in their boring English class–  sitting in a small chair, scribbling in a notebook, memorizing word lists, analyzing extremely boring grammar rules.    They are also stressed because they know their English speaking is not improving quickly.
This is not the way to learn English.  Indeed, it’s not the way to learn anything.  Of course, most students are merely following the learning system they know best– a learning system created by boring, tired, stiff, and ineffective teachers and bureaucrats.   This is the only system most students know.  They grew up learning in this way– from elementary school through graduate school.
However, you must never confuse “education” with “learning”.
True learning is a celebration.  True learning is active, fun, and energetic.  Human beings are naturally designed to learn.   When we are truly learning (not just being “educated”) we automatically feel great.
How can you learn English in this way?  How can you rediscover the excitement and happiness of learning– right now?
Mostly you must unlearn your ideas about education.   Teachers taught you to sit still, be quiet, and obey.
You must do the opposite–  move your body as you learn, be loud, and break all the rules.  In my seminar, students were shocked (in a good way) by my teaching methods.   Immediately, I had them standing and dancing to music.  They looked at me like I was crazy!
But that was just the beginning.   As the 5 hour seminar continued, I continually raised the energy level.   Students didn’t just dance a little bit–  they jumped, they yelled, they moved powerfully.   They energetically and enthusiastically participated in every minute of the class.   During five full hours, the energy level never dropped.
The seminar was more than just an English class–  it was a celebration of learning.  As the students walked out the door at the end they were laughing and glowing.   They were excited and they felt great.   They had learned a tremendous amount in a short time– more than they had thought possible. And they loved it.
The problem with most teachers is that they have such low expectations of themselves and their students.  They are content to be “average” or merely “good”.  And so they create average boring classes.
You should demand more.  Demand more from your teachers and demand more from yourself.   Insist that your English learning experiences be absolutely fantastic.  Insist on an enthusiastic celebration every time you learn English.   Insist on excitement.  Insist on excellence.

essence of christmas

"essence of christmas"

Christmas is a time to renew bonds of love. It's a wonderful time when loved ones can show appreciation for each other. It's also a great time to use that love to build bridges of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness.
*
I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow pas-sengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.
*
Christmas is best enjoyed when it isn't centered on decorations, gifts, or festivities, but when love is at its core. Love is the essence of Christmas. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share. —Jesus
*
O little Babe of Bethlehem, though You lie so still, You awaken in us the joy, love, and peace that You wish to spread throughout the world.
*
Christmas is a time to see the world through the eyes of love. It's a time to remember that the world is made up of people like us and to see them for who they are inside. All have problems like we do, no matter who they are or where they come from.
*
Every day is like Christmas for us because Jesus is so good to us every day, but this time is extra special because He pours out His love in extra measure. We feel His love from loved ones, acquaintances, and even strangers. There's just something about Jesus' birthday that turns people's hearts and minds to peace and love and goodwill. It brings out the best in everyone because it brings Jesus out, and He's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+

equal rights equal opportunity

equal rights equal opportunity

The cost of passing up the next best choice when making a decision. For example, if an asset such as capital is used for one purpose, the opportunity cost is the value of the next best purpose the asset could have been used for. Opportunity cost analysis is an important part of a company's decision-making processes, but is not treated as an actual cost in any financial statement

These nouns refer to a favorable or advantageous circumstance or combination of circumstances. Opportunity is an auspicious state of affairs or a suitable time: "If you prepare yourself . . . you will be able to grasp opportunity for broader experience when it appears" (Eleanor Roosevelt).
Occasion suggests the proper time for action: an auspicious occasion; an occasion for celebration.
An opening is an opportunity affording a good possibility of success:waited patiently for her opening, then exposed the report's inconsistency.
Chance often implies an opportunity that arises through luck or accident: a chance for us to chat; no chance of losing.
A break is an often sudden piece of luck, especially good luck: got his first big break in Hollywood.

climate change

climate change
Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions (i.e., more or fewer extreme weather events). Climate change is caused by factors such asbiotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred to as "global warming".[1]
Scientists actively work to understand past and future climate by using observations and theoretical models. A climate record -- extending deep into the Earth's past -- has been assembled, and continues to be built up, based on geological evidence from boreholetemperature profiles, cores removed from deep accumulations of ice, floral and faunal records, glacial and periglacial processes, stable-isotope and other analyses of sediment layers, and records of past sea levels. More recent data are provided by the instrumental record. General circulation models, based on physics, are often used in theoretical approaches to match past climate data, make future projections, and link causes and effects in climate change.
